Cancer - Genetics

Although all cancers begin with genetic defects, genetic transmission has not been shown in 70-80% of cancers. Cancer occurs with 3 different genetic errors as it develops. These are;

1. Genetic defects in tumor-initiating genes.
2. Presence of oncogenes: in this case, there is an overactivity of the tumor-inducing gene.
3. Deterioration in genes that repair DNA errors or damage.
